PS80QAfter school program runs on Monday to Fridays 2:30pm to 6:00pm in the Cafeteria and Gymnasium.  All kids are received in the Cafeteria.  Snacks are usually served to start... as the kids eat, talk and mingle for the next 10 minutes. After that time everyone moves to a squared table area for an open discussion. This is a setting where kids are asked and encouraged to talk about their day.  It is meant to encourage them to speak up about anything that may be on their minds, from school to home to current events ect.
Discipline and behavior is very important to our program.
It is important that your child understand our code of behavior and adhere to them.

*Call now seats are limited
We believe that its important to get kids talking after getting something to eat.

Kids are normally energized after eating. This affords them an opportunity to vent and relax their mind before heading to the gym.
Good behavior is a must In order to remain in the program.  No fighting, cursing, disrespecting authority, menacing yelling or disrupting
any activities will be tolerated.
Potential violators will be expelled.
Confidence is a vital attribute that empowers children to face challenges and believe in their abilities. The program provided a nurturing environment where children can explore their interests, engage in various activities, and receive positive reinforcement.
The group then comes together for the Impact Poem about making an impact in life by excelling in school. After a magical train ride... the group heads out the gym  giving out high fives - to attack their homework.
Building Confidence
Talk About Your Day:
Ten minutes of play and relax time is afforded to the kids to de-stress.  The group then comes together for the Impact Poem about making an impact in life by excelling in school. Through interactive sessions, they developed a strong sense of self-worth, that enabled them to tackle new experiences with confidence.
